Note: Regarding all on-site trainings
1. Cost: includes both our transportation and lodging expenses. If the training is located more than 1.5 hours drive time away from a major airport, Chancery will either offer a shorter session time or negotiate a surcharge for the extra travel time. Session time is 9:00 to 3:30.
2. Hardware: the school must provide the hardware and location for the training. We limit our class size to 10 people with no more than 5 Macintosh's in the training room. Ideally, we require a trainer's Mac HD 20 with video-out capabilities, a Kodak Datashow or Limelight to project the image onto a screen.
3. Macintosh Knowledge: we require that all participants in the Mac School training be Macintosh literate. Knowledge of the Macintosh hierarchical file structure, ability to click and drag with the mouse, scroll, etc.
4. 800 Number Support: after the training is complete the school is entitled to six months of free 800 number technical support on a special line for trained users only. If the school elects to continue 800 number support they are eligible for substantially lower rates for the following year than schools that have not been trained.
2. Mac School University - Training in Vancouver
Mac School University is designed to meet the needs of two groups:
1) those who wish to become ‘Authorized’ Mac School Trainers and offer Mac School training to schools which would qualify schools for reduced rate on Chancery's Support/Update Program.
